Following 32 years of project management and controls experience in the defence sector, I moved to Costain in 2022 to expand my horizons and currently lead projects in Network Rail.
I have experienced poor mental health (severe anxiety in my case) and I am involved in a number of wellbeing forums in Costain.

Tom holds an MSc in Project Management from the University of Southampton, where he wrote his dissertation on burnout and social support. His work earned him a finalist spot for Graduate of the Year at the 2020 APM Awards.
